Eminem Hosts Russell Simmons' Hip Hop Summit Action Network

So far a fundraiser for late rapper Sean Price has brought in $86,000 for his family.  But one donation has particularly stuck out.   Eminem’s Shady Records donated $10,000 to Duck Down’s fundraiser for Sean Price’s family on Wednesday.   Duck Down’s created a rise page after Price’s death after the rapper died in his sleep on August 8th.  He is survived by his wife and three children. Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s manager, responded to Price’s death via AllHipHop. “I swear I just told Marshall (Eminem) on Thursday that Sean was my current favorite,” Rosenberg says. “I hung on every word in his verses.”

“Price’s former labelmate, Tek of Smif-N-Wessun, took to Instagram to salute Jigga for his efforts. It’s worth noting that Memphis Bleek is Sean Price’s cousin, something Sean revealed back in 2011. Another big name in Hip Hop, Jay Z, also made a donation this his amount is undisclosed. Sean’s posthumous tape Songs In the Key of Price dropped yesterday and it’s only $7.99. Show your support for a real one.
